She was born Dec. 24, 1917 in Monterey, the daughter of Carson and Sarah Ellen Buckner Bilbrey. Mrs. Henson was a homemaker and a member of the Woodclift Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edgar Henson of Mineral Bluff, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Joyce Walker of Crossville, Jack and Kay Walker of Sparta, Vick and Brenda Walker of Charleston, SC, and son, Bob Walker of Nashville; sister, Ann Hollars of Monterey; grandchildren, Mark Walker of Nashville, Dale Walker of Knoxville, and Donnie, Kathleen and Jennifer Walker, all of Charleston; and great-grandchild, Seth Walker of Nashville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, D.M. Walker; brother, Carson Bilbrey; and sisters, Selma Phillps, Roxie Steel, Burks Grant, and Sylvia Bilbrey.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
The Revs. Carson Whittaker and Guy Farris officiated.
