Gladys "Glad" Polson, age 76, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at her home.

She was born in Clinton, SC and was a daughter of the late Nolan W. and Dolly A. Elders McCravey.

Mrs. Polson was a employee of Wendy's in Laurens and a former employee of Clinton Mills.

She attended the New Horizon Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, James E. Polson of the home; two sons, Rickey Polson and wife, Tammy and James Polson and wife, Tammy both of Clinton; three step daughters; one brother, Larry McCravey and wife, Beverly of Cross Hill; one sister, LaDon Taylor and husband, Frank of Laurens; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Leroy McCravey, a sister, Barbara Bowling, a step son, David and a step daughter, Shirley.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 22nd at 3:00 p.m. at the New Horizion Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Jack Elders and Rev. Mike Campbell.

Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
