Mr. Anthony died March 17, 2009 in Athens.He was born July 27, 1937 in Eustace to the late Robert A. and Lockie Ethel Featherston Anthony. Charles was a resident of Henderson County most of his life and was a retired automobile mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sue Cave Anthony and brothers, L.B. Anthony, Sr., Eddie Harold Anthony and Jerry Anthony.
Survivors include a son James Anthony and wife Lisa, Athens; daughter, Charla Johnson and husband Chad, Eustace; brother Robert "T-Boy" Anthony, Elmo; grandchildren Colt and Ashley Anthony, Meggan and Madeline Johnson; great grandchildren Codie, Brayden, Emily and Hannah Anthony; mother-in-law Wilma Cave, Athens; numerous nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers include James Melton, Terry McGee, Larry Farley, Leland Lambright, Larry Carmichael, Ronald Anthony.Arrangements are with Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home in Athens.
