Sailed the seas as a First Mate and later a Captain most of his young life. Immigrated to America and married Helen Elizabeth Moorehouse. Helen died in East Orage, Essex New Jersey on January 5, 1882. He then moved to Utah where he met and married Elizabeth Maude Wiscombe.
I have not been able to find the graves of Helen Elizabeth .
