Lorene AnnaLee "Ann" (Bryant) White died at the age of 62 on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 from complications of cancer, at her home in East Wenatchee with those she loved. We will all miss her, she was the light of our lives, dearly loved by all.

Ann White was born in Oktaha, Oklahoma on November 10, 1941 to Charles and Ruby Bryant. When she was 4 years old, the family sold the family farm and made their way to Wenatchee, Washington. She was a part of one of the many families that transitioned from the south to Wenatchee to work in the fruit industry. She was so cute in those years, all decked out in her little pleated skirts and patent leather shoes. What a doll she was with those big ringlets hanging down her back. Ann attended grade school at Sunnyslope Elementary, H.B. Ellison Jr. High School and Wenatchee High School. After schooling years were completed, she began working at Parkside Care Facility where she met and married Thomas G. White, her devoted husband of 42 years.

They made their home here in the Wenatchee Valley and have lived in their home in East Wenatchee for 32 years. Charles Thomas White, their son, was welcomed into their home a few years after Tom and Ann married, quickly followed by his sister, Lisa Ann White. Ann loved being a mother and home maker, she loved to cook and provided wonderful meals for all to enjoy. She also found time to work in numerous packing sheds in the area, packing apples in the fall of each year, while her two children were in school.

On of the many gifts Ann had was the gift of compassion. She was always willing to help anyone that was in need of a helping hand. She provided a home and care for many years for a special neighbor lady, Ethel Vaughn, prior to Ethel's death. In later years, Ann began her collecting adventures, collecting coins, stamps, angels and of course her famous Beanie Babies.

She was always on the look out for the newest beanie baby to add to her fantastic collection.

Ann is survived by her husband, Thomas G. White of the home; daughter, Lisa Ann White of East Wenatchee; son, Charles Thomas White of Wenatchee; her mother, Ruby Bryant Finkbeiner of Wenatchee; sisters, Betty Edgbert of Seattle, Wilma Morrell of Wenatchee, and Carolyn Tower of Boise, Idaho; two grandchildren, Caelyn and Dakota Smith, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles H. Bryant in 1974; her new "daddy" Chester Finkbeiner in 2003 and her brother, Charles Edward Bryant in 1997.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 14, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. at Telford's Chapel of the Valley with Pastor Jerry Godfrey and Chaplain Scott Langager officiating. Concluding Services and interment will follow at the Wenatchee Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
