Gladys Irene Buzzard, daughter of Mansfield and Effie May (Haley) Cockrell was born in Fairview ,MO on Dec 7,1907 and passed away 5:55pm Friday Sep.11,1998 in Balanced Care South ,Lebanon.
Gladys was united in marriage to Harold Dugan and one daughter, Shirley,was born to them.
Shirley preceded her mother in death as did her husband,Harold.
Gladys was united in marriage to Clyde Buzzard in July of 1943 and two sons and one daughter were born to this union.
She professed her faith in Christ as a young woman and was a member of First Baptist Church at the time of her death.
She was employed with Big Smith Overhall Manufacturing Co.of Carthage, MO for several years.
Later she and Clyde managed Aurora Monument Company.

Services will be 10am Monday in Colonial Funeral Chapel with burial in Dice Cemetery near Fairview.

She is survived by two sons, Clyde and Charles, both of Denham Springs, LA; one daughter Vicki Pentecost of Lebanon; one brother,Carl Cockell of Dodge City, Kansas; two sisters, Pauline Jenkins of Webb City and Donna Korff of Sarcoxie, MO; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband,Clyde in 1972,her parents,and seven brothers and sisters.
