John James Freeman, 73, of 320 Harrison St, West Kittanning , died at his home Saturday evening. Born Nov 12, 1900, in East Franklin Township , he was the son of Clark and Sadie(Swigart) Freeman. He was a retired employee of Allegheny River Mining Company and a member of the United Mine Workers of America. Survivors include his widow, Myrna(Barnhart) Freeman;his mother, Mrs Sadie Freeman of Kittannning;sons,Charles(Jim) and Jack ,both of West Kittanning; brothers, Clarence and Clark Jr, both of Adrian RD1, William of Kisman, Ohio and Kenneth of Kittannning; a sister, Mrs Minnie Corbett of New Kensington; and two grandchildren. FREEMAN - Friends of John James Freeman who died Jan. 19, 1974 are being eceived from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Kittanning. Service will be 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald G. Farner, pastor of the West Kittanning Church of the Brethren, officiating. Burial will be in the Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Arrangements by Snyder.
