Miss RICHMOND, 17, Succumbs Here

Miss Matilda Jane RICHMOND, 17, died at Hendrick Memorial Hospital about 6:30 p.m. Sunday after suffering from rheumatic fever for 12 years. She was last hospitalized June 29.

Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at North Funeral Chapel. Other arrangements will be announced.

Miss RICHMOND, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene J. RICHMOND of 3174 S. 13th, was born June 1, 1948 in Wamego, Kan. She moved with her parents to Abilene in 1951. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Surviving are her parents, two sisters, Mary Josephine and Elizabeth Ann; a brother George Christopher, all of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John VESTAL of Sweetwater.
