JOPLIN, Mo. - Marguerite Letts Lawrence, 79, of Carthage, MO, died Sunday, April 14, 2002, in Joplin.

A native of Fort Pierce, she lived here from 1922 to 1955.

She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Carthage.

Survivors include a daughter, Melanie McNulty of San Jose, CA; two sons, James Rogers Lawrence Jr. of Tulsa, OK, and Loren R. Lawrence of Rogers, AR; a sister, Mary Pease of Shreveport, LA; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service were held Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce.

Arrangements were under the direction of Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
