Mrs. Mildred Louise Winters, 42, wife of Carl B. Winters of Mulberry, died at 2:45 p. m. today - Thursday - at the St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette, where she was admitted as a medical patient last Sunday. Death was attributed to complications. Mrs. Winters had lived in Mulberry for about ten years and at one time worked at the Corner Bar & Grill. She was a member of the Mulberry Methodist church.

Born in Boone county July 20, 1918, she was a daughter of Orville and Zula (Goldsberry) Miller. She married Mr. Winters on June 6, 1940, and he survives.

Other survivors are a son, Robert William, at home; two step-sons, Carl B. Winters II of New Ross and Ted Winters of Jamestown; two step-daughters, Mrs. Bruce McIntyre of Lebanon and Mrs. Jay Hoskins of Shelbyville; five brothers, Joe, Robert F. and William C. Miller, all of Frankfort, Argyle of Kokomo and Geraldine, address unknown, and four sisters, Mrs. Ralph Sibray and Mrs. Lloyd Jones, both of Frankfort, Mrs. Lois Crawford of Lebanon and Mrs. James Quarry of Fort Ord, Calif.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul A. Reisen of Battle Ground officiating. Burial will be in the Brush Creek cemetery in Boone county. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p. m. Friday.
