Mrs. T.J. Medlin, former resident of Caruthersville, Mo., died Sunday, July 16, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sidney Dowd, in Alexandria, La., and her funeral is to be held this (Thursday) afternoon in the First Methodist Church at Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Burial is to be in Lauderdale Memorial Park there.
She was born April 7, 1884, at Alamo, Tenn., and was 88 years old. She and Mr. Medlin, who preceded her in death, lived in Caruthersville for many years.
She leaves one son, Joe H. Medlin Jr. of Festus, Mo., three daughters, Mrs. H.G. Burton of Fort Lauderdale, Mrs. Sidney L. Dowd of Alexandria and Mrs. James Walker of St. Charles, La.; nine grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren.

She was the daughter of John Needham and Martha Alice Davis Branch.
Preceding her in death were two daughters Gladys A. Medlin and Velma Louise Medlin, and two sons Thomas Joseph Medlin and James Wilson Medlin, five siblings Samuel Benjamin Branch, Ennis B. Branch, Fletcher Olin Branch, John Emmett Branch of Alamo, Tenn., two sisters Hattie Sue Medlin of Caruthersville, Mo., and Katie Drummond. Survivoring brother, Marcus E. Branch of Alamo, Tenn.
