Robert Floyd Helm, 72, a retired farmer of Route 3, Mountain Home, died Wednesday of last week at Baxter General Hospital. He resided at Salesville, southeast of here, and was a member of the Norfork Baptist Church.

Services were conducted Friday at the Roller Chapel by Rev. O. I. Ford, former pastor of the East Side Baptist Church of Mountain Home, now of Batesville. Interment was in the Norfork Cemetery, under the direction of the Roller Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Leo Pitchford, Carl Sheid, George Kirby, Burton Trotter, Gene Adams and Arthur Boggs.

A native of this state, Mr. Helm was born at Sylamore Feb. 29, 1994, the son of John C. Helm ans Susie Hightower Helm. He was married to Myrl Johnson at Anderson, Aug. 20, 1924, and had lived in Baxter County most of his life.

Survivors include his wife, at the home; a son Delbert, of Ogden, Utah; a daughter, Myrtle (Mrs. Art) Hill of Mountain Home; two sisters, Mrs. Lela Wheeler of Salesville and Mrs. Inez Haney of the Buford community; 14 grandchidren and four great-grandchildren.
