John Gordon Cameron, 87, Dawson Springs, died at 6:45 am Monday at Dawson Springs Health Care Center after a long illness.
Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Riley officiating and burial in East End Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm today at the funeral home.
A native of Trigg County, he was born Sept 19, 1902, son of the late Jesse Lee and Julia Brandon Cameron. He was a member of the Reidland United Methodist Church, and a retired plumber, having worked for Cadiz Water Co. His son, Kenneth Edward Cameron, died in 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Roby Ray Litchfield Cameron; two daughters, Mary Grace Teague, Ledbetter, and Martha Jean Brown, Dawson Springs; two brothers, Jesse Cameron, Cerulean, and Clint Cameron, Cadiz; a sister, Florence Miller, Central City; and six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
