Funeral of Edwin W.Albee

Edwin W.Albee,the second son of Mrs.Annie E.Albee, living at 373 Thirteenth street,will be buried this afternoon in Lone Fir Cemetary.He ided Friday morning at St.Vincent's Hospital from the effects of a 50 ffot fall last Sunday afternoon from a telephone poleat the corner of
Fouteenth and Columbia Streets. The funeral will be under the auspices of Company H.Third Infantry, O.N.G. of which he would have served five consecutive years on December 20 next.He was born in Milwaukie,Or. on July 23,1884.For
several years he has been employed by the Pacific Statea Telephone & Telegraph Company. He was held in high esteem by all who knew him.The funeral will take place at Finley's Chapel,Third and Madison streets,at 2 P.M.

Members of Company H.O.N.G. Fire Volleys Over Grave

Rev. W.R.Powell, of the Protestant Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration,conducted the funeral services yesterday afternoon, in Finley & Son's Chapel,of Edwin W. Albee, who died last Friday from injuries received by falling from
the top of a 50 foot pole of the Pacific States Telephone & Telegraph Company,at fourteenth and Columbia Street, October 30, during a gale. Albee was a member of Company H,Third Infantry,Oregon National Gaurd, for about five years, and delegations of his late fellow employees and Company H. Third Infantry, were among the mourners. There was an abundance of floral tributes. Internment took
place at Lone Fir Cemetary, the pallbearers being: From Company H, Third Infantry; Fred K.McCarer,L.R. Thompson, and Robert Meyers; representing the employees of the Pacific States Telephone & Telegraph Company, William
Kerron,Daniel Brasen and Frank Slavin. A squad of soldiers from Company H fired three volleys over the newly made grave, and Charles Kinnear blew "taps"
