Leo "V." Biehler, 83, of Jordan
Visitation for Leo V. Biehler of Jordan will be from noon-9 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Br. Biehler died Wednesday (May 27, 1992) at his home. He was 83.
A vigil services will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Royce R. Thomas serving as celebrant. Burial will be at Norfork Cemetery.
Formerly of Denver, Colo., Mr. Biehler had been a Jordan resident for a year. He was born March 13, 1909, at Easton, Kan., to the late Henry and Anna Brose Biehler. He and the former Loretta Mullen were married April 23, 1947, at Wheatland, Wyo. Mr. Biehler was a retired optician. He was a member of the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Biehler of the home; one son, Rich Biehler of Mountain Home; three daughters, Barbara Hodges of Norfork, and Kathy Stanphill and Janet Turbett, both of Elizabeth, Colo.; one brother, the Rev. J. E. Biehler of Manhattan, Kan.; one sister, Marcella Baker of Leavenworth, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
