Mrs. Ellen Marie Johnson, 75, of 540 Jefferson St., died Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Cottage Hospital, where she had been a patient three days.
She was born Aug. 14, 1886, at Kalmar, Sweden.
She had lived on Jefferson street 41 years. Mrs. Johnson was married to Axel E. Johnson at Rock Island in April 1917. He died in 1948.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church and the Vesta lodge.
Surviving are a son, Marcel E. Johnson of Galesburg; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Corrine) Terpening of Coldbrook and Mrs. Ray (Jeanne) Nemeth of Galesburg; a sister, Mrs. W. A. Wood of Oneida, and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hinchliff and Pearson Funeral Chapel, where friends may call Wednesday. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery."

Pallbearers were Orlo Stevens, Everett Johnson, Harry Olivero, Richard Sturgeon, Russell Nelson and William Emery.
Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery."
