Willie "Bill" Baitz, 80, died March 4, 1988 in an Abilene hospital.
Services were held March 6th at Faith Lutheran Church in Sagerton with the Rev. Mel Swoyer officiating. Burial was in Rule Cemetery.
A lifetime resident of Old Glory, he was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Polly Jo Baitz of Old Glory; three daughters, Landra Post of Tye, Rhonda Baitz of Abilene, and Billie Jo Freeman of Stamford; two sisters, Minna Davis and Hilda Neumann, both of Old Glory; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
