GALVESTON — Benjamin Benard Belcik Sr., 75, of Galveston, passed away at Jennie Sealy Hospital, Tuesdav, April 7,1998. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 9,1998, followed by the funeral service at 7 p.m. at Malloy & Son Funeral Home
with Pastor McFarlane officiating. Private family burial will be Friday, April 10,1998, at 11 aon., Houston National Cemetery,
Houston.
Mr. Belcik was born September 29, 1922, in Ammansville, Texas. Most of his life was spent as a door to door salesman; 20 years selling Electrolux Vaccum Cleaners and 15 37 years selling religious books. He was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, looking forward to his reunion with his Savior.
He served his country during World War n being a member of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 20.
Immediate family survivors include his wife of 38 years, Beatrice Belcik: sons; David Belcik of Matagorda, Texas, and Ben Belcik Jr. of Galveston; a daughter, Cherie Nordman of Battle Creek, Michigan.
The family has requested donations may be given to Parkinson Medical Research in lieu of flowers.
