JoAnn, known throughout her life as Jo, was born to the late Willie Webster Swearingen, Sr. and Leona Miller Swearingen. She was employed by Pace Stancil Funeral Home as a Pre-Need counselor and served as Facilitator for the Grief Relief of Liberty County for eleven years. Jo is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Thomas Doucette, Jr., and brothers, Eddie Lee Swearingen and Willie Webster Swearingen, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Camardelle of Spring, grandson, David Smith and wife Michelle of Tomball, great-granddaughters, Taylor and Charley Smith of Tomball; daughter, Sherre Weeks and son-in-law, Winfred of Fruitvale, granddaughters, Wende, Shara, and Melissa Weeks of Fruitvale; daughter, Debbe Pugh and son-in-law Michael of Spring, granddaughters, Kemberlee and Kristee Pugh of Spring; son, James Thomas (Tomme) Doucette, III of Beaumont, brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Linda Swearingen of Liberty; sister, Norma Jean Swan of Alvin; sister-in-law, Neeta Swearingen of Liberty.
