Elizabeth Jane Werner, 93, Lindale, Tex., died Wednesday at 9 a.m. in Mineola General Hospital, Mineola, Tex.
She was born in Logansport on Sept. 6, 1887, to Edward and Rosella Pollack Beall. She was married to Joseph A. Werner, who died in 1949.
Surviving are six sons, Orlando, Peru; Clarence, Frankfort; Lewis, Titusville, Fla.; Victor, 1544 Grant St.; Edwin, Fort Worth, Tex.; and Joseph, West Bend, Wis.; three daughters, Josephine Clary, Lindale, Tex.; Betty Wicker, Dayton, Ohio; and Virginia Roberts, Lindale, Tex.; 33 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel at Mount Hope Cemetery, with the Rev. Milton Beeman officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope.
Calling for family only will be Friday after 7 p.m. in the Kroeger Funeral Home.
