Mrs. Jessie Young, 92, of Mt. Carmel, died in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Friday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m., following an extended illness.

Mrs. Young is survived by four sons, William W. Young, Bastrop, Jessie Hubert Young, Florida, Henry Wilson Young, Brazil, and David Young, Mt. Carmel; a daughter, Mrs. James Paul Todd of Albuquerque, N. M.; a sister, Mrs. J. S. Chennault, Jonesville; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Mr. Carmel Baptist Church on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

Note: Rev. Henry Thomas Young was born March 20, 1880 at Enterprise, La., the son of Henry Thomas (Tom) Young and Elizabeth Peyton Cornwell. He died December 18, 1949 at Mt. Carmel, La. He was married to Jessie Young on January 27, 1904 in Catahoula Parish, La. - she was the daughter of William Young and Martha Elizabeth Hughes
