Claude Stewart Murray, born February 3, 1922, Altonah, Utah. As he was surrounded by his loving family he was called to serve on the other side of the veil on May 29, 2003, Murray, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Atta Ashby Murray; son, Gary Murray; granddaughter, Heidi Bair; sisters, Sara Murray, Margaret (Lester) Maxfield, Grace Gardner; and brothers, Wilmer (Anna) Murray, Boyd Murray.

He is survived by his loving wife and sweetheart, Nada Lynn Maxfield Murray; brothers, Lee (Theda) Murray, Clyde (Lenora) Murray; sister-in-law, Ardis Murray; children, JoAnn (Keith) Bair, Vicky (Ron) Wallace, Curtis (Sheri) Murray, Mark (Mary) Murray, Diann (Kerry) Lamb; 26 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

Claude served in the 916-A Battery Army during World War II. He faithfully served in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a Jordan River Temple worker. Claude and Nada served in the Akron, Ohio Mission.

Viewing will be Sun. June 1 at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd., Taylorsville, UT, 6-8 p.m. Funeral will be Mon. 10 a.m., June 2, at the Taylorsville Stake Center, 1400 W. 4800 S., Taylorsville, UT, with viewing prior to the funeral at 9 a.m. Graveside service at Altonah Cemetery, Altonah, UT.
