The older son of my ancestor, JOSEPH EASTON, he either came as an infant to America or was born in Cambridge, Mass. Bay Colony. He married Elizabeth (maiden name unknown)about 1668 in Hartford. He was admitted to the church on August 28, 1670, surveyor of highways in 1671, and townsman in 1693.
Their children:
1. Sarah b. July 18, 1670, died young
2. Mary b. Dec 26, 1672, died young
3. Sarah b. Nov 15l, 1675, m. Nathaniel Goodwin
4. John b. Jan 10, 1678/9, died young
5. Mary b. Oct 1, 1681, m. Jonathan Butler
6. Mehitabel b. Jan 17, 1683/4, m. Abel Merrill
7. Abigail b. March 16, 1687, m. Richard Burnham
8. John b Oct 22, 1687, m. Sarah Butler
