GRIFFITHSVILLE Glenna E. Brumfield, 100, of Griffithsville died Dec. 12, 2003, at the home of her caregiver, Sylvia Adkins of Hamlin, after a long illness.
She was a 1948 graduate of Morris Harvey College, a retired teacher and principal in Lincoln County for many years and a member of Eden Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Audrey Pardue of Clara, Mich., Pearl Egnor of Clearwater Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Pastor Rexal Cooper and Pastor Hallie Wade officiating. Burial will be in May Cemetery, Griffithsville.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Glen was a very faithful member of the Eden Baptist Church. She played the piano and taught Sunday school classes many years. After Glen was unable to climb the steps, the men of the church would carry her up the steps in a chair and she would play the piano for the services.
