Mr. Amos was born Oct. 23, 1922, in Taylor County, Ga., to the late George W. Amos and the late Aurellia Adams Amos. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Amos. Mr. Amos retired from Crompton Highland Mill and was a veteran of the United States Marines Corps, having served in World War II.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Millard L. Amos will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, in chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from noon until the funeral hour Wednesday.
