Jerry J. Berry
Manhattan-Jerry J. Berry, 74, Manhattan, died Thursday, Nov. 15, at his home.
Mr. Berry was manager of the Manhattan water service when he retired.
He was born Oct. 8, 1910, at Olsburg, the son of John and Myrtle Walker Berry.
Mr. Berry was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Manhattan.
He was married to Opal Tilton Sept. 18, 1933, at Westmoreland. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nadine Peterson, Whiting, and Mrs. Aldine Schwendt, Manhattan; two sons, Jerry Don Berry, St. George and Jerome Berry, Manhattan; a sister, Mrs. Deloris Case, Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Frank Berry, Yakima, Wash.; Jack Berry, Vermillion, and Willard Berry, Manhattan; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Cowan-Edwards-Yorgensen Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Carnahan Creek Cemetery, northeast of Manhattan. Memorial contributions may be made to american Heart Association,
