Madge L. Ruch, 93, 5208 N. Michigan Rd., Indianapolis, died at 2:45 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis. She was a former Logansport resident.
She was born June 12, 1893, in Carroll County, to Stephan and Anna Mines Shinn. She was married Feb. 7, 1910, in Logansport, to Julius Ruch, who died Dec. 26,1958.
She was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church, Indianapolis. She and her husband were proprietors of the Downey Flake Doughnut Shop on the Indianapolis Circle until 1958.
Surviving are a son, Edwin, 5208 N. Michigan Rd,, Indianapolis; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; four great-greatgrandchildren and two nieces.
Services will be held at noon Saturday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Charles Kline officiating. Entombment will be in the Catholic mausoleum at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call two hours prior to the services at Kroeger Funeral Home.
