CHILDRESS - Neatie Trammel, 104, died Friday, Nov. 3, 1989.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim McCurley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Kirkland Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Trammel was born in Jackson County, Ark. She married Henry E. Trammel in 1908 at Coleman County. She moved to Childress in 1952. A son, William Benton Trammel, died in 1973. Her husband and a daughter, Odessa Loraine Trammel, preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Margaret Welch of Childress, Ella Mae Wood of Paris, Texas, Stella Mae Mahan of Childress and Laverta Mahan of Childress; three sons, Andrew Trammel of Childress, Clarence Trammel of Amarillo and Jimmie Trammel of Childress; 28 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandchild.
