Loyd Chandler, a retired machinist, died Wednesday at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 77.

Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Chandler was a lifelong Fort Worth resident.He was a member of Springdale Baptist Church.

Survivors: Wife, Roberta Chandler of Fort Worth; son, Ron Chandler of Azle; daughter, Faye Epperson of Hurst; brother, William S. Chandler of Hurst; sister, Marian Fritcher of Fort Worth; and five granddaughters (adapted from Fort Worth Star-Telegram).
