Mrs. Marie Steiner, 67, Knightstown, widow of late Charles Steiner, died early Friday at the Methodsit hospital in Indianapolis and funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon.

The Rev. James Bartholomew of the Knightstown Christian church was in charge of the final rites, with burial in Glen Cove cemetery.

Mrs. Steiner was taken to the hospital Wednesday after becoming serously ill. She was a native of Rushville but had lived at Knightstown 40 years. She was a member of the Christian church and was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Knightstown.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Myrle Snyder of Corpus Christi, Texas and Mrs. Bonnie Jean Moore, Elkton, Oregon; a brother Donald Pease, Perris, California; one grandson and one granddaughter.

Butcher Bentley Funeral home was in charge of the funeral.
