Death Occurs On Her 82nd Birthday
Mrs. Sarah McMichael, Widow Of William McMichael, Expires At Her Home Near Manilla
Five Children Survive Her
Mrs. Sarah McMichael, well known woman of the western part of Rush county, died this morning at four o'clock at her home north of Manilla with her death occurring on her eighty second birthday anniversary.
The deceased was the widow of William McMichael, and she had lived in this county all of her life, having been born on September 13, 1841. Death was due to complications arising with old age.
She is survived by five children, Albert N. of this county, Ernest M. of Jay county, Mrs. Eva Miller, Mrs. Ruby Miller and Miss Myrtle A. McMichael, all of this county. Two brothers also survive, who are the Rev. W. W. Worth of Leige City, Texas and Franklin Worth of Arlington.
She also is survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The services will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Wesley M. E. church in that vicinity, of which she had been a lifelong member. The Rev. H. Hawkins will officiate at the services and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
