She was the first wife of John Raymond Parks.
Mrs. Sadie Isabel Parks, of 1002 Washington Street, died at 3:45 o'clock this morning July 6, 1940, in the J.C. Blair Memorial hospital, of pneumonia. She was born in Coalmont on May 4, 1910, a daughter of Harry and Elva (Hanawalt) Corbin. At the time of death she was aged 30 years, two months and two days. Members of the family include her husband, Raymond Parks and three children: Jack, Joanne and Glenn, all at home; also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Corbin, three brothers: David, Thomas and Edgar, all of 217 Ninth street, Huntingdon; and two sisters, Mrs. Lennie McCray, of Huntingdon, and Mrs. Sue Taylor, of California. Funeral arrangements had not been completed at press time.

Funeral services for Mrs. Raymond Parks, of 1002 Washington Street, who died in the J.C. Blair Memorial hospital on Saturday morning, July 6, 1940, of pneumonia, were held in the Coalmont Methodist church this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. George L. Detweiler, pastor of the Stone Church of the Brethren in Huntingdon, officiated. Interment was made in the Dudley Cemetery, directed by Huff's funeral service.
