Funeral services for Barbara Ann Weeks, 66, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, March 16, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joe Kannampuzha officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

A Rosary for Mrs. Weeks will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2009, in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Weeks was born December 25, 1942, in Waverly, Iowa, to the late Mildred (Hess) and John Gatton. She died Friday, March 13, 2009, in Woodland Heights Medical Center.

Mrs. Weeks had resided in Angelina County for more than 40 years. She was a registered nurse for more than 40 years until her retirement from Woodland Heights Medical Center in 2007. She cherished her family and grandchildren, and enjoyed doing for others. Mrs. Weeks was a member of St. Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, John and Cori Weeks of Lufkin, Joe and Angela Weeks of Moscow, Jimmy Weeks of Lufkin, and Jeff and Arlinda Weeks of Port Orchard, Washington; her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Shannon Crowell of Hemphill; fourteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. (Bob) Weeks, and grandson, Josh Tyler Weeks.

Pallbearers will be John Weeks, Joe Weeks, Jimmy Weeks, Jeff Weeks, Shannon Crowell, Corbyn Weeks, Joseph Weeks, Jeffrey Crowell, and Chase Weeks. Honorary pallbearers will be the Medical Staff at Woodland Heights Medical Center.

The family extends a special thank you to the Woodland Heights Medical Center family for the love and care shown to Mrs. Weeks.
