Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 29, 1988 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Plainfield Cemetery in Bradshaw.
OBITUARY: Beulah George
Beulah M. George, the daughter of Chris and Minnie (Horn) Christiansen, was born at Dixon, Illinois, on March 22, 1902, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 26, 1988, at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 24 days.
She attended country school near Bradshaw and graduated from Bradshaw High School, and attended York College, and later taught school near Stockham.
On February 20, 1924, she was united in marriage to Leon George, at Bradshaw. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1975.
After he marriage they farmed in the Stockham and Hampton area, and later northwest of Bradshaw. In 1986, she moved to the Bethesda Care Center in Aurora.
Beulah was a member of the Bradshaw United Methodist Church, and also was a longtime member of the Hi Neighbor Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 brothers, Elmer and Leland Christiansen.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are 2 sons, Dean of Bradshaw and Marvin of Pocatello, Idaho; one daughter Jean Sundberg of Aurora; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
