Pierre Millet was the son of Jean Millet and Felicite Hautin of St John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. He married Marie Euphrosine Cambre on 17 Feb 1824 at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edgard, Louisiana. They were the parents of at least one child, Alexis Millet, who died an infant a few months after the death of his mother on 5 Aug 1825. Pierre then married again on 30 Oct 1827 at St Michael Catholic Church, in Convent, Louisiana, to Eleonore Poche, a native of St James Parish. They were the parents of three children, Pierre Millet, Irma Millet and Emma Millet. Eleonore apparently died soon after the birth of her daughter Emma Millet as Pierre married Seraphine Cambre, a younger widowed sister of his first wife, on 1 Sep 1835 at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edgard, Louisiana. They were the parents of four children, Zenon, Olivia, Theophile and Josephine Millet. Seraphine died 8 Mar 1851 and Pierre married for a fourth time on 15 Apr 1852 at St John the Baptist Church in Edgard to Elise Baudry, widow of Jacques Poche Jr. They were the parents of one child, Elizabeth Millet.
