Elmer Clarence Eversole, 57, died Sunday night at his home, 234 Henry Ave.
Born in Wytheville, June 26, 1905, the son of the late William and Emma Rogers Eversole, he was a foreman for the State Highway for 27 years.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Lela Davis Eversole; three daughters, Mrs. Emily Elliot and Mrs. Charles Clark both of Pulaski, and Mrs. Yvonne Phillipi, Wytheville; one son Captain Charles W. Eversole, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; one sister Mrs. Arthur Wickle and one brother Douglas Eversole both of Pulaski, and three grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 am from Strickler's Chapel conducted by the Rev. Edward F. Lovitt. Burial will follow in Thornspring Cemetery.
The body will remain at Strickler's Funeral Home.
