Jonathan is the son of Thomas and Abigail (Knowlton) Cilley of Andover. He married 1st Deborah Dearborn before 1779 in Nottingham, five children; married 2nd Mary Fellows March 11, 1792 in Andover, three children; and married 3rd Mae Williams March 16, 1802, no children.

•Polly was born in Andover March 11, 1775 and died in Panama, Chautauqua co, NY on March 5, 1839. She married on November 1, 1793,John Fellows, son of Joseph and Margaret (Webster) Fellows. John was born February 22, 1767 and died at Panama on May 26, 1846. John moved to Bridgewater, NH 1806 to 1808 and to Panama, NY after 1818.
•Deborah who was born January 09, 1793 in Andover and died March 31, 1863 in Mineral, Bureau co, IL. She married Ebenezer Tilton on October 21, 1813. He was born December 22, 1787 in Andover and died there September 25, 1833. Their sixth child, Eliphalet D, who was born in Andover on February 26, 1806 and died February 28, 1817 is buried at Boston Hill cemetery in Andover.
