"Margaret Alice Cook Templin, wife of Mark B. Templin, died Tuesday afternoon at her home on (56) Court street of paralysis. She was ailing in the morning and a stroke at 3:30 proved fatal. Deceased was born in Green township Jan. 18, 1858, a daughter of John C. and Caroline Cook, and her entire life was spent in the vicinity of her birthplace, most of her married life being spent in Calla. She was married to Mr. Templin, Oct. 31, 1878, the couple celebrating their 57th wedding anniversary last October. She was a most active member of Calla Evangelical church and Woman's Missionary Society and a woman held in high esteem by all who knew her. Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Delfs, of Canfield, and a son, Lester Templin, of Binghamton, N. Y. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Semilda Paulin, and two grandchildren, Misses Genevieve and Maxine Delfs. Funeral services in charge of rev. A. T. Brandyberry will be held in the Calla church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, leaving the home at 1:30. Interment in Canfield cemetery."

"A very large crowd of friends and many beautiful floral pieces at the funeral Friday of Mrs. M. B. Templin were silent tributes of the high esteem in which she was held. Relatives from Wyoming, Chicago, Cleveland, Garrettsville, Warren, Youngstown, Columbiana and Salem were present. Rev. Brandyberry of Pennsylvania assisted by Rev. Paulin of Wisconsin and Rev. Snyder of West Austintown had charge of the services."
