A son of L.F. Fouts, T.A. learned Telegraphy from his father and at the age of 14 he was receiving & sending messages for the Katy Railroad in Trinity Mills. When he was assigned to Hillsboro he met Myrtle Mae Hicky and married her. Their children are Robert Allen Fouts who married Alice Janice Mitchell; & Thomas Frederick Fouts who married Elizabeth Beneke May

T.A. served as Mayor and City Councilman, secetary for the school board, volunteer fireman for over 20 years and Fire Marshall after his retirement from Sun Oli Company.
