She was the sister of Matilda Louisa "Louise" (born 16 June 1859), Christian (9 Jan 1861), Rudolf/Rudolph (born 30 January 1863), John (born 6 June 1865), Carl "Charles" (born 10 March 1867), Otto (12 October 1869), Ernestena Ploetz, and Baby Ploetz.
