Bertha Barton's Mother was different from the other Molsa Children. Though they all shard the same father, her Mother was Bertha Warth, born 26 May 1852 in Friedrichshafen, Bodenseekreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Baptism 7 Juni 1852 • Atzenweiler, Fischbach, Grünkraut, Schnetzenhausen u. Taldorf, Württemberg, Germany

She is shown aged 19 on the manifest of the Ship 'New York' travelling from Bremen Germany and arriving 1 Dec 1871 in New Orleans Louisiana with intended destination Galveston Texas.

She later married Wilhelm 'William' Molsa 3 Mar 1874 in Galveston but died the following year a little over a week after the birth of this their first and only child Bertha who was to later marry David Barton.

Her Mother is buried beside her in Galveston at Evergreen Cemetery
