From the June 10, 1903 LaFayette Sun:
In memory.
Died at her home near Hamburg, June 6th, 1903, Mrs. Ada Huckaby. Her death was unexpected as she has been sick only a few days. Her husband died about fifteen months ago. She leaves six children. She was laid to rest at Shady Ridge, where she was a consistent member. We feel that we can truthfully say she was a true Christian. Weep not, dear ones, but try to live so as to meet her in a home “not made with hands eternal in the heavens.” May God bless and comfort the dear little children is the earnest prayer of Ruby Belle Williams.
