BRITTANY DAWN LINDESMITH, age 20, of Comanche, Okla., died Friday, March 13, 2009, in Lawton, Okla. Services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 17, at the Assumption Catholic Church, with Father Pudoto Rayanna and Father Joseph Irwin officiating. Burial will be in Sterling Cemetery under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel.
Brittany was born April 10, 1988, in Duncan, Okla., to Greg and Roxanne Rodiger Lindesmith. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, and enjoyed the water and being outdoors, riding her 4-wheeler, and horses and camping. Brittany and her mother volunteered their time with the Stephens County Humane Society, Goodwill, Assumption Catholic Church Food Bank, various nursing homes and Duncan Group Homes.
She is survived by her parents, Greg and Roxanne Lindesmith, and a sister, Madison L. Lindesmith, all of the home in Comanche; aunts, Lorie Ann Sullivan of Comanche, Carolyn Ehli of Moore, Anna Ross of Rush Springs; uncles, Richard Rodiger of Rush Springs, Andy Rodiger of Missouri, and Anthony Rodiger of Marlow; a grandmother, Peggy Lindesmith of Comanche; a grand-father, Andrew Rodiger of Oklahoma City; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special friends and caregivers were Carrie and David Carney, Juanita Simpson, Rita Chandler and Liz Wright.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Lindesmith, Jerry Lindesmith, Chet Sullivan, Anthony Rodiger, Richard Rodiger and Kenny Ehli.
