Elmer Franklin Harrison, 70, of Grants Pass, died Friday, March 11, 1988, at his home.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors with the Rev. Lance Garrett officiating. Committal will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

He was born June 26, 1917, in Cochrane Junction, Kan. He married his wife Ora June 24, 1940, in Raton, N.M.

He had lived in Grants Pass for the past 31 years and was a member of American Legion Post No. 28 for 10 years. He worked for CP National Gas Co. from 1957 until 1982.

Survivors include his wife, Ora Harrison of Grants Pass; a son, Frank Harrison of Merlin; three daughters, Kitty Woodden of Chadvon, N.C., and Esther Shanahan and Kathy Harrison, both of Grants Pass; and 14 grandchildren.
