Born Aug. 2, 1963 in Rushville, she was the daughter of Raymond Hatfield and Alma "Becky" Morris Hatfield; her father, a Rushville resident, survives.
Mrs. Brown was a lifelong Rushville resident. She was employed by Meridian in Shelbyville and had been the manager of the Paint Department for several years.
Survivors in addition to her father include son, Tim Hatfield of Rushville; daughter, Lucinda Brown of Rushville; brother, Raymond (Cindy) Hatfield Jr. of New Salem; sisters, Barbara (Harlan) McKinsey, Debbie (Bob) Moore, Kathy Vest and Joan Hauger, all of Rushville; and two grandchildren.
Besides her mother she was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moster Mortuary in Rushville with the Rev. Charles Justice officiating. Burial will follow in East Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
