Myrtle Louise Barnett Bloomquist, age 93, passed away August 15, 1996, in a Murray hospital.

Born October 7, 1902, in Bingham, Utah, to Charles K. and Clara Louise Smith Barnett. Married Laurence Carl Bloomquist in Salt Lake City, on July 21, 1921; he died June 10, 1960.

Employee of Utah Poultry. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister and she enjoyed family gatherings.

Survived by two daughters, Virginia (Marlon) King; Sylvia (Darwin) Thayne; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; one brother, William Barnett. Preceded in death by son, Richard Bloomquist; daughter, Grace Ebarb.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19, 1996 at 12 noon at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, where friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
