Ada Elizabeth Brown Aamodt, age 99, passed away July 16, 1996 in West Valley City, Utah.

Born January 4, 1897 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of John and Mary Burkhardt Brown. Married Arthur Herbert Aamodt, June 28, 1922 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She served in all auxiliaries of the LDS Church, particularly in Primary and Sunday School, and was a strong supporter of her husband in his callings in the church.

Survived by son, David Arthur (Christa) Aamodt, Iowa City; daughter, Mary Ruth (Homer) Ogilvie, West Valley City; son-in-law, William S. Lanier, Salt Lake; 23 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Joan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 20, 1996, 2 p.m. at the Granger 6th Ward, 2835 South 2855 West. Friends may call Friday 5-7 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at church, 1-1:45 p.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
