Howard L. Guise, 85, of Biglerville R.1. died Sunday at the lutheran Home in Gettysburg.
He was born in Adams County, the son of the late John E and Alice Yeagy E. Snyder died in 1979.
He was a veteran of World War l. He drove a bakery truck for Spangler and Gettier Bakery if Biglerville and also farmed in Butler Twp. until he retired. He was a member of Ira E. Lady Post American Legion in Biglerville, he was also a member of the Men's Bible Class Church Council and Superintendent of Sunday School for Bender's Lutheran Church.
He is survived by two sons Howard L Guise Jr. of Mechanicsburg and Richard S. Guise of Pottstown, one daughter Ann Settle of Biglerville R.2., seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, One sister Mrs. Walter Lady of gettysburg, Three half brothers, Roy Guise of Aspers, Clair Guise of Gettysburg and Raymond Guise of Gettysburg.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Peters Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eugene H. Moore officiating. Buial will be in the Biglerville Cemetery.
