She graduated from Clinton Prairie High School in 1970.
She married the love of her life, Richard Lee Whitlock, on January 15, 1977, and he survives.
Mrs. Whitlock worked at National Homes for 10 years, then retired from Carastar Paper after 28 years.
She had attended and was baptized in the Mulberry Baptist Church.
She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening with her husband, gambling, bingo and scrapbooking. Thelma extended her love to friends and neighbors as though they were family.
Surviving with her husband and mother are her daughters, Richlyn Rice (husband: Jason) and Jessica Clawson (husband: Scott), both of Lafayette; and four brothers, Jerry Fultz (wife: Marylou) of Lafayette, Bill Fultz (wife: Mary) Mike Fultz (companion: Montie) and Ken Fultz, all of Mulberry; and three grandchildren, she loved them all. She also loved her five nephews and four nieces.
