Born April 16, 1899, in Oxford, she graduated from Oxford High School in 1917, and attended Purdue University. She was a Benton County resident all of her life.
She married Fred Heath Foster on Nov. 14, 1917, in Oxford. He died April 7, 1964.
Mrs. Foster was a member of the Oxford United Methodist Church and Beulah Chapter 102 Eastern Star in Otterbein. She enjoyed gem and mineral collecting, photography, vegetable and flower gardening, and mosaic art. She had traveled throughout the Old West.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today, Aug. 20, until services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Hahn Funeral Home, Oxford, the Rev. Linda Sproull officiating. Interment Justus Cemetery, Oxford. Survived by a sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 6 brothers and a sister. Memorial contributions to charity of donor's choice.
